http://Cable.co.uk's latest analysis of global broadband speeds gives the lie to the UK governments' hot air about broadband: for a notionally G7 country, we're now 43rd ranked. That's from 47th in 2020, 34th in 2019, 35th in 2018 and 31st in 2017. :(

Fibre still down. But you knew that. Break appears to be around St Fillans, and Steve has found a suspicious digger and a hole… …mob will meet at the usual place. Bring pitchforks.

Openreach fibre fault appears to be affecting Balquhidder & Loch Tay, and probably elsewhere. No estimated time to fix yet.

A big thanks to Steve from @Bogons_BCB last night - a long power cut took our main cabinet UPS beyond its limit, at which point he rocked up with a generator to get the community back online. You don't get that sort of service from BT!
